Abstract
The macrofunction "To Inhabit the Center" was created to coordinate efforts of municipal agencies and other institutions related to the promotion of residential use in the downtown area of Rio. The need to bring together various perspectives and functions arises from the recognition of the many components and diverse dimensions of the issue concerning the City Center.
